Romans 8.14-16

The Holy Spirit’s forgotten ministry is His confirmation of our sonship.

He confirms our sonship through His leadership (v.14).

• He points us to Jesus
• He often gives “senses” of what we should do

He confirms our sonship through adoption in love (v.15-16)

• God reveals Himself as Father (v.15)
• We are not naturally His kids (v.15)
• God continually affirms our sonship (v.16)
