  1. Dude, that was awesome. Say what you will about NCAA sports, but at least in college football, you don't see this kind of junk. That's probably because the coaches have at least a modicum of actual authority over the players.

    Costas is absolutely right - it comes down to selfishness. They are arrogant, and their arrogance is fed by an NFL system that removes all authority from the coach by making those players the most important people in the organization. And it's a system that reflects the values of American culture.
