Part 9 – A Really Good Defense Lawyer

1 John 1.8-2.2

What is happening?

Jesus confronts the religious leaders of the day.

Jesus is unjustly accused and condemned to die.

Jesus is brutally murdered on the cross.

Jesus offers Himself as a sacrifice according to the plan of God.

What does it mean?

God graciously provides a remedy for sin.

Sin is a big deal.

We are on the wrong side.

Jesus is our Advocate and Propitiation.

We are transformed by this reality.
