Context of the Promise

• God knows of the deceit and disobedience.
• Before He addresses their sin, He makes them a promise.

Content of the Promise

• Warrior
• Person
• Promised
• Wounded
• Conquerer

Who could that be? Only Jesus!

• Only Jesus is the Promised Person
  
• Only Jesus is the Wounded Warrior
  
• Only Jesus is the Conquering King
